May 2007 I played the Welcoming Arms Festival at Naval Medical Center San Diego to welcome the crew of the medical ship USS Mercy. Special thanks to Tim Scully of Navy MWR.

May 2007 I played the homecoming for the USS Rentz at Naval Base San Diego.

March 2007 I did free dinner and a concert for my neighborhood military housing. My church purchased all the food; my parents did all the cooking - 16 smoked chickens with all the trimmings.

November 2006 I played the brunch at Humphrey's By The Bay after the Shelter Island 5K Run/Walk. Proceeds benefited the Armed Services YMCA. Thanks to all the nice people at Humphrey's, and to all the generous competitors whose entry fees will help needy military families.

October 2006 I played the Welcoming Arms Festival at Naval Medical Center San Diego to welcome the crew of the hospital ship USS Mercy.

July 2006 I hosted a benefit show at Santee Trolley Square to raise funds for severely wounded soldiers at Naval Medical Center San Diego.
